Hello! I'm Ashley or Pixie, the author of Who in Astrology Are You? Having a witch shop has been a lifelong dream that is to express my true self and leave a meaningful legacy. I believe I'm fulfilling that goal now, not only through my books but also by creating Hex & Hearth.
I have been living in Arkansas since 2000, but my interest in tarot and astrology began at age 8. It's a long story that ultimately brought me here, driven by passion and deep loss.
Over the years, I have experienced intense grief. I have lost over 10 of my close friends who were once the same age as me. Now, in a sense, I am the oldest, outliving all my sweet friends who would have absolutely loved this space for our community, and for me. I carry their memory into every corner of this shop.
Beyond the mystic realm, I am a mother of four and married to my wonderful husband, Tommy. I hold a bachelor’s degree in education and taught for about four years. My deepest love belongs entirely to spirituality. I am always learning more about Astrology, Tarot, and anything to do with witchery because the more you learn, the more you know. I have a Sagittarius stellium, and that includes my moon. I love to learn and then flip it and teach it my way to other people. I am also a 5/1 Manifester. If you know anything about human design. I am certified in EFT Tapping, Palmistry, and Astrology.
I connect with the other side seamlessly and often. Whether I am asleep or moving through my day, it doesn't matter what I am doing; my loved ones and your loved ones like to come and visit with me. I am apparently pretty popular in the ethereal realm!
Currently, I am writing my upcoming tarot book and steadily pecking away at my memoir. I am most excited about the memoir because it will finally tell the story of how I became, well, this: a writer, educator, psychic, mystic, and a lover of the unknown and taboo things.
I am incredibly excited about this journey because it is the closest I have ever felt to being truly, authentically me. Thank you for walking this magical path with me.
